On February 16, 2011, Matthew Rossiter moderated the Sixth Annual Fiduciary Litigation Seminar, and also presented the Annual Update on the Law. Over 100 attorneys were in attendance.

On November 3, 2010, Jamie Boock successfully obtained a verdict after a jury trial against the City of St. Louis for failing to timely repair a dangerous condition on a City of St. Louis road which resulted in a one-car accident. Defendants made no offer to settle before trial.

Amanda focuses her practice on probate and trust administration, estate planning, and fiduciary litigation.  She has represented trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, and claimants in all areas of estate and trust administration, and she has drafted numerous estate plans.  Additionally, Amanda has experience in all aspects of civil litigation.  She has successfully argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals, obtaining a favorable published opinion.

Amanda is a 2009 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While in law school, she was the Special Symposium Editor and a member of the executive board for the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. She also had her student article, examining the Smoke-free Illinois Act, published by the Law Journal. Amanda received CALI Awards for attaining the highest grade in Constitutional Law I, Appellate Advocacy, and Advanced Writing for Civil Litigation. As a law student, Amanda clerked for the Civil Appeals division of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, where she participated in drafting numerous state and federal appellate briefs.

Amanda received her undergraduate degree in History and Political Science in 2006 from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. At Northwestern, Amanda was a member of the University Chapel Choir and was active as a volunteer for YoungLife, a high school outreach program. She is a 2001 alumna of Washington University’s Summer Scholars Program and a 2004 alumna of The Fund for American Studies’ Engalitcheff Institute on Comparative Political and Economic Systems, an intensive summer program at Georgetown University.

Amanda is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis.

Amanda was born and raised in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. She currently resides in University City with her husband, Steve.
