Andrew W. Callahan
Andrew focuses the majority of his practice on estate, trust and fiduciary litigation. He has experience in every aspect of civil litigation, from investigating and initiating lawsuits to successfully taking them to verdict. Andrew has participated in numerous jury trials, including successfully trying a professional negligence case as lead counsel in 2010. Andrew has argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals and has participated in several successful appeals, including the case of Moore v. Goffstein, et al, before the Missouri Supreme Court.
Andrew is a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law, cum laude. While in law school, he was awarded Academic Excellence Awards for attaining the highest grades in Labor Law, Employment Relations and Administrative Law. Andrew also competed on the Saint Louis University Trial Advocacy Competition Team, placing as a semi-finalist in the Regional Competition. As a law student, Andrew was President of the Student Trial Lawyers Association and also clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Donald G. Wilkerson. Andrew graduated in 2008, and has since been admitted into Saint Louis University Law School’s prestigious Order of the Woolsack.
Andrew earned his undergraduate degree at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. At Trinity, he was a four year member of the varsity swim team and club water polo team. He graduated in 2004, cum laude with a degree in History and a minor in Political Science. After graduation, Andrew spent a year building homes for Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio as an AmeriCorps Member.
Andrew is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Illinois and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and The Lawyer’s Association.
Andrew was born and raised in Trenton, Illinois. He currently lives in the Fox Park neighborhood of St. Louis with his wife Annie.
