About

Zachary R. Pancoast is a seasoned personal injury attorney dedicated to fighting for individuals hurt by the negligence of others.  Over the past decade, he has focused his practice on representing people injured by medical negligence.  His experience includes, but is not limited to, cases involving surgical errors, emergency room errors, failures to diagnose, FTCA claims, podiatric malpractice and ophthalmological malpractice.  He also handles personal injury claims for dog bites, as well as car, truck and motorcycle accidents.

Zach holds an undergraduate degree from DePauw University in Indiana and a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law.  Prior to joining Rossiter & Boock, LLC, Zach spent 9 years specializing in the defense of healthcare providers in Missouri and Illinois.  This background affords Zach a unique perspective, which allows him to deftly navigate even the most complex medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases.

Zach is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Illinois.  He has represented clients in the following cities and counties: St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Greene County, Cape Girardeau, Poplar Bluff, Bolivar, Missouri and Decatur, Vandalia, Belleville, Edwardsville, Benton, Shelbyville, Mattoon, Charleston, Danville, Bloomington, Marion, Galesburg and Carbondale, Illinois, among many others.

Zach grew up in Shelbyville, Illinois and is available to meet clients at Rossiter & Boock’s Shelbyville, Illinois office, as well as the St. Louis office.

Zach gives back to the community by working with several professional and community organizations.  He is a member of several Missouri and Illinois bar associations.  For many years he served on the planning committee, as a member and co-chair, for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’ annual ‘Bench, Bar and Professional Development Conference’.  In addition to his service to the legal community, Zach also sits on the board of directors of the Gateway Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Zach and his wife, Mini, reside in St. Louis, Missouri and recently welcomed their first child.
